About the role :

• Participates in the development and training of Associate level staff/ new entrants

• Position with experience and industry knowledge - Multinational Programs and Primary Lead Business

• Support of underwriting units in complex business matters

• Actively contributing to the team spirit • Accountable to deliver timely and accurate business processing also during peak times

• Ability to connect dots and provide administrative and technical support for the respective business unit

• Ability to adapt fast growth, change and demand

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural environment

• Tasks typically are Client and Business directed and are under direct supervision


Position Scope Data:

• Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new processes and guidelines, learn new skills, and stay updated with the team supported.


Core Responsibilities:

• Acts as a resource and coach for Associate questions and direction including feedback on training needs

• Collaborates on the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, system and tool enhancements, and testing/ piloting changes

• High level of interaction and coordination with team members

• Enter and maintain information in systems and tools, including documents, process changes and associated open/completed tasks

• Create and maintain electronic records and hard copies if required following established guidelines and processes

• Regularly interaction with external customers

• Interact with on-shore/off-shore staff and handle document processing for teams supported, as appropriate


Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial deal analysis and prepare applicable account data

• Support teams in organizing and preparing data for client meetings

• Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors, and initiate correction while following-up with customer or process owner regarding any inconsistencies found.

• Follow-up on outstanding documents or items, per guidelines

• Perform assigned rule-based tasks following standard operating procedures

About you


Technical Competencies for this Job:

• Proven ability to do root cause analysis and associated troubleshooting

• Demonstrates analytical skills in order to determine and communicate recommendations to customers

• Ability to adapt to changes in tasks and priorities

• Ability to accurately and efficiently analyse data following established processes and procedures

• Demonstrates profound computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Package (Special focus on Excel)

• Demonstrates competency in: intermediate level math administrative and clerical procedures and general economic/ accounting principles

• Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while establishing priorities; ability to handle multiple tasks in a rapidly evolving environment

• Excellent reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to identify and report problems or errors while working with significant amounts of detailed information

• Applies knowledge to technical and processing tasks through daily activities and responsibilities


Education:

• Insurance Degree

• Relevant job experience not required


License/certifications:

• Insurance certificates or diplomas desirable


Relevant professional experience:

• Broad knowledge and understanding of Re-/ Insurance business

Linguistics:

• Excellent communication skills (reading, written and verbal)

• Fully proficient in French and English, German is a plus

• Additional languages of relevant markets are desirable
